Privacy Policy
Personal information such as name, title, address, email address and telephone number
is collected from you.
Your privacy is vital to our business. Protecting the privacy and confidentiality
of your personal information has always been an essential principle in our business
relationships.
Personal information will be used only by us to assist us in providing the services
contained herein. We will not sell, rent or otherwise disclose this personal
information to anyone.
Terms and Conditions
Upon receipt of this application, Can-Win Tax Recovery Services Inc. will mail the
applicant a list of documents that are required to be filed in order to obtain a
U.S. Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) together with a list of items
you will require if claiming losses from gambling. No verification of your wagering
losses are required to be submitted with your return(s), however, if the IRS or
State Taxation Authority audit your return(s) and you have no verification, you
will not be entitled to a refund.
Can-Win will return to you all original documents by registered mail after same
have been notarized in order to obtain your ITIN number.
Should you receive any inquiries from the I.R.S., Can-Win undertakes, on your behalf,
to deal with only your gambling winnings and to answer same at no extra cost.
It is understood that Can-Win is acting only as a facilitator of the refund process
on your behalf and that the I.R.S. and/or the State Taxation Authority [if any]
shall [subject to the right of appeal] be the final determinant of the amount due
to you.
IF NO REFUND IS RECEIVED THEN NO FEE WILL BE CHARGED.
The original letter containing the ITIN number issued by the United States will
be provided to the client and Can-Win Tax Recovery Services Inc. will retain for
their records a copy of such number. The client understands that the ITIN
number cannot be used to claim the earned income tax credit under Section 32 of
the Internal Revenue Code, that the possession of an ITIN does not change the applicant’s
immigration status or entitle the applicant to legal employment in the United States;
the ITIN does not take the place of a Social Security Number (SSN) or qualify the
applicant for Social Security benefits. If an applicant becomes eligible for an
SSN at a later date, the ITIN can no longer be used and the applicant must apply
for an SSN from the Social Security Administration.
